One customer needed a tray to warm organic specimens while presenting them to an automated microscopic inspection system. This tray needed to be molded, but have a thermal conductivity near that of aluminum! Also, the specimens had to be kept in the field of view to within 10 microns (4 ten-thousandths of an inch). |

This required a uniquely designed mold that held this tolerance on two features over the entire 4-inch length
of the part. One of the greatest benefits for our customer was our approach, which got them thru the
prototyping stage economically, as well as provided plenty of parts for early manufacturing, testing, and sales.
